Welcome to TrySnap.io. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, Shopify application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), including the App's generative AI services and associated Credit System. By accessing or using our Services, you (the "Merchant") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or installing our Shopify application, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. Description of Services
TrySnap.io provides an AI-powered virtual try-on solution for Shopify stores. Our Services allow your customers to upload a photo and see themselves wearing your products using artificial intelligence. Services include:
- AI virtual try-on image and video generation
- Shopify app integration and widget
- Analytics dashboard and credit management
- Support and onboarding services
3. Account and Registration
To use our Services, you must install our Shopify application through the Shopify App Store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. The Credit System & Usage Tracking
Access to AI generation is managed via a non-refundable Credit System.
- Credits as Currency: Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits are consumed at the time of generation based on the output type selected. One Credit equals one Photo Try-On.
- Consumption Weights: Photo: 1 Credit | Video: 8 Credits.
- Dashboard Authority: The Merchant Dashboard within the App serves as the final and sole authority regarding credit consumption, usage history, and remaining balances.
- Monthly Reset: Credits are allocated on a 30-day billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the following month and are cleared at the start of each new cycle.
- Top-Ups: Additional Credit Packs may be purchased. These are consumed under the same weighting rules and reset at the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Founding Member Program
The Founding Member program is limited to 100 stores and is available only on the Growth and Scale plans. It is not a separate plan: your chosen plan continues to set your features and monthly try-on allowance. For a one-time fee of $299 USD, a Founding Member receives:
- A 30% discount on the Growth or Scale monthly price, applied automatically for as long as the subscription remains active
- 2,000 try-on units credited on the day the spot is claimed (a value of $199)
- A shared Slack channel with the founders
- Votes on the product roadmap
- A 30% recurring referral commission on referred stores
Spots are claimed on a first-come basis until all 100 are taken. The Founding Member discount replaces, and does not stack with, the annual-billing discount: a Founding Member's annual price is twelve times their discounted monthly price. The one-time fee is non-refundable once the try-on units have been credited, and Founding Member status is non-transferable between stores.
Continuous Subscription Requirement: The discount is valid only for active and continuous subscriptions. If the App is uninstalled or the subscription is canceled, Founding Member status and the associated discount are permanently forfeited. Re-installation will be subject to the public pricing in effect at that time.
6. Pricing and Payment
All transactions are processed via the Shopify Billing API. Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as selected during sign-up. Prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our money-back guarantee (Section 7).
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not apply to active founding member subscriptions. Credit top-ups are non-refundable once purchased.
7. Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day "Show Me Results" money-back guarantee. If your store's conversions do not increase measurably within 30 days of installation, you may request a full refund. To claim a refund, you must contact us within the 30-day period with evidence that the Services were actively used during that time.
8. Merchant Responsibilities & Customer Consent
The App allows end-users (the Merchant's customers) to upload personal photos and videos. As the Merchant, you are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring your store's Privacy Policy accurately discloses the use of third-party AI processing of customer images
- Obtaining any necessary legal consents for the collection and processing of customer data, including "biometric data" processing as required by applicable laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., BIPA, CCPA, GDPR)
The Merchant agrees to indemnify TrySnap.io against any claims arising from a failure to obtain proper user consent or the unauthorized use of end-user data.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our technology
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
- Use the Services to generate inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
- Resell or redistribute the Services without our prior written consent
- Circumvent usage limits or credit restrictions
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including our AI models, algorithms, software, design, text, and graphics, are owned by TrySnap.io and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your product images and store content.
The try-on results generated for your customers may be shared and used for personal or marketing purposes. You grant us a limited license to use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve our Services.
11. AI Disclaimer
Representative Results: AI-generated outputs are "representative" mathematical models. They are intended for illustrative purposes and do not constitute a guarantee of exact physical fit, color accuracy, or material texture.
Third-Party Dependencies: Our service relies on third-party infrastructure (e.g., Shopify, MiniMax, and other relevant tools). We guarantee proper uptime and efficient operations from our side, but we are not liable for service interruptions, latency, or AI output anomalies caused by these third-party API providers.
12. Customer Photo Handling
Photos uploaded by your customers for virtual try-on are processed in real time and deleted immediately after the result is generated. We do not store, retain, or use customer photos for any purpose beyond generating the requested try-on result. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
13. Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
14. Billing, Termination & Uninstallation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin panel. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Any remaining credits are forfeited upon cancellation.
Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App immediately terminates access to the Service and forfeits any remaining credit balance without a refund.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific conversion rate increases or revenue outcomes.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrySnap.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrySnap.io, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TrySnap.io is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly are "Credits"?
Think of Credits as fuel for the Virtual Try-On engine. Every time a customer clicks "Try On" and our AI generates a result, credits are deducted from your monthly balance. Each plan comes with a set allocation.
How is credit consumption calculated?
Different output types use different levels of compute power. Photo Try-On: 1 Credit (fast, great for daily traffic). Video Try-On: 8 Credits (a 4-second 360° clip, the ultimate wow factor).
Do unused credits roll over to next month?
No. Credits reset at the start of every billing cycle. We recommend choosing a tier that matches your average monthly traffic to get the most value.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
Your store won't break. You can purchase Top-Up Packs directly from the dashboard. For high-traffic stores, we recommend enabling Auto-Top-Up so your customers never lose access during a viral sale or holiday rush.
Can I track who's using my credits?
Yes. Your dashboard provides real-time analytics: which products are being tried on most, how many videos are generated, and the direct impact on your Add to Cart rates.
I'm a Founding Member. Will my price ever go up?
As long as your subscription stays active, you keep 30% off the Growth or Scale monthly price, including if you move between those two plans. Public price changes do not apply to active Founding Member subscriptions.
Why does video cost more than images?
AI Video generation requires significantly more GPU processing power and time than a static image. The weighted credit system lets us offer world-class video try-on to mid-sized brands without enterprise-level pricing.
